1. There’s no place for comments because I just don’t feel like monitoring them.
  2. I apologize for any typos.
  3. If an ad appears on this site it doesn’t necessarily mean I endorse the product or service.
  4. I’m sure I’ll offend someone at some point. If so, I apologize.
  5. I have no desire to write bad reviews. If I don’t like something I just won’t review it. But I also don’t want to give the impression that I’m undiscerning, in fact, that would defeat the purpose of this site, which is to highlight things that I like. But it isn’t to do that by disparaging other things. So no bad reviews. Although that doesn’t mean I might not give some constructive criticism here and there.
  6. This is more a note to self, but the tone of this site is just conversational. I have both an English Literature degree and a law degree, so I could make it more literary if I wanted to. But I don’t. That doesn’t mean I’m dumbing it down for anybody, it just means I’m going to speak in the vernacular.
  7. Some of the punctuation on this site is going to be non-standard because I’m trying to make it more accessible for screen readers.
  8. Unless I specify otherwise, these anime reviews are based on the original Japanese audio with subtitles. I always eventually get around to watching the dubbed version, but I always start with the original Japanese. The reason I do this, in case you’re not fully initiated into the anime subculture (if I can even call it that anymore), is because there can be wild discrepancies between what an English localization team will write and what the original version says. I almost always vastly prefer the original Japanese.
